Choose low calorie snacks like plain popcorn or fruits. Make smart choices when it comes to your meals. Choosing wheat bread over white and grilled chicken instead of a greasy burger may sound simple enough, but it could be the difference between gaining weight or losing it. Buy your food fresh from the local grocery store or farmers market. Don't over eat. Only eat until you get full. Sometimes we eat because of stress from work, or just because there is food in front of us. Resist the temptation and reap the benefits on the scale! Stay away from alcohol. If you must drink, stick with a dark beer. It's not as processes as other drinks. Vodka is also a slightly better choice then other alcohol because it contains less sugar. Stay away from rum. |

Just take a reasonable amount, and you should be good! Overeating is a huge problem in America because we don't know when to stop! 2. Eat slowly. I know when you are really hungry that can be hard, but if you take time and chew everything slowly, you are less likely to overeat. How crazy is that? Just slow down, and enjoy the food. 3. If you don't like the food, don't eat it. I know that sounds silly, but we tend to just eat whatever is in front of us, whenever it is there.
